McIntrye Contracting is a full service construction company based out of Point Lookout, NY. We have been in business for over 40 years building primarily in Nassau County. We are fully licensed and insured in both Nassau and Suffolk County.

Our business is primarily built on referrals. Each job and each family is important to us. We pride ourselves on building homes, not just houses. We focus on all details, specifications and concerns from the proposal stage through the completion stage. We take pride in our work and our reputation and deliver complete satisfaction in a clean and timely manner. We are highly proficient in the construction of new homes as well as additions and renovations to existing homes and commercial construction.

John spent 11 years in the carpenters union “cutting his teeth” while attending evening school at the State University of NY at Farmingdale earning a degree in Construction Engineering Technology. He is a strong advocate of energy efficient home assemblies.

At McIntyre Contracting, Inc. we have constructed numerous homes using energy efficient and sustainable products with the goal to ensure the highest rating for efficiency possible. We are also aware of and will suggest appropriate systems supporting the needs of a growing population of seniors for aging in place universal design.
